A short list of things every merchant hates
Everybody has a list. Here's mine.
- The customer who asks what's in the product title.
- "Just checking in" from an agency you have never hired and never will.
- Apps that say free and mean free to install.
- Buying shelving to store the stock you bought because it was on sale.
- "Only 3 left in stock." It was 3 last Tuesday. 3 the Tuesday before. Hardest-working number in retail.
- The chat widget you installed to keep people on the page. It asks them if they're still there.
- A guy with a podcast telling you to sell on TikTok. He has never sold anything. He has seen TikTok.
- Your own announcement bar, still announcing August. In October.
- Sunday. Specifically the part of Sunday you spend in the theme editor, turning off Friday.
The last 2 are a scheduling problem. Section Control shows and hides sections on the dates you give it. The announcement bar stops announcing August on its own.
